Account Exec - Inside Sales

POSITION SUMMARY
Focus on business development with emphasis on prospecting, onboarding and maintaining strong broker relationships. Responsible for meeting established production goals via a demonstrated efficiency in building a quality pipeline and maintaining pull through/customer retention within company standards. Perform daily activity including but not limited to conversion of dormant account into producing relationships and mastery of product offering, pricing and process. Work in cooperation with internal operations partners to effectively manage, and expedite pipeline while maintaining high level of broker satisfaction and client centered focus. Work under general supervision and report to Manager, Director or VP of department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Adhere to general work requirements
2. Manage pipeline to ensure adherence to company lending and service standards
3. Communicate with brokers to provide status of loans and answer questions on conditions, etc.
4. Place outbound sales calls, prospect for new business development and lead the onboarding process
5. Convert dormant accounts into producing relationships
6. Remain current on company requirements and maintain compliance
7. Work with production coordinator to ensure accurate and timely service to brokers
8. Maintain clear, consistent line of communication between the broker and the production coordinator
9. Recommend the restructure of files as necessary
10. Provide training to other AEs if directed
11. Perform other duties as assigned
GENERAL SKILLS

Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to provide outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments
Proficient working knowledge of computerized applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email and specialized business applications software
Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management
Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, other business areas and government agencies as required
Ability to:
o read and interpret complex reports and documents
o assimilate and interpret various sources of data and provide and make decisions on recommendations to executive management to solve highly complex problems from start to finish
Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
3-5 years of experience working in a production residential lending environment
2-5 years of experience in mortgage sales, loan processing, underwriting and/or funding
Experience working with automated loan processing/closing software
Well-versed in conventional and government programs/products
Familiarity with TRID
Understanding of loan closing and disclosure processes and procedures
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical demands with activity or condition existing a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (i.e. keyboard, mouse and monitor) or adding machine
Physical demands may include walking, carrying, reaching, standing and stooping
May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing or pulling up to 25 lb



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
