Supports the Lean Six Sigma Manager through continuous improvement projects. Mentors supervisors and shop floor employees on lean tools and methodologies. Executes Lean Six Sigma activities in the organization at the shop floor level. Audits, investigates & provides guidance to obtain data used for project implementation. Carries out plans in accordance with the company's mission on elimination of waste, decreased inventory, and increased throughput.
Responsible for monitoring and executing Kaizen Events and other continuous improvement projects as assigned to increase productivity, maximize profitability, and improve customer satisfaction.
Makes recommendations while partnering with various affected departments to drive projects to completion.
Partners with shop floor supervision and Lean Six Sigma Manager in execution of projects utilizing Key Process Measures and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Leads projects and Kaizen Events throughout the organization as directed by the Lean Six Sigma Manager utilizing Six Sigma processes and tools in data formulation, documentation, project execution, deliverables, and reporting.
Responsible for communications of project milestones and deliverables via tollgates to Lean Six Sigma Manager, Lean Six Sigma Director as well as Operations Management and appropriate project stakeholders.
Audits completed projects for sustainability and cost efficiency.
Develops employee competencies in utilizing lean methodologies and tools at various levels in the organization.
Promotes and fosters an environment supportive of continuous learning, personal accountability and comprehension of the proper utilization of continuous improvement tools.
Follows company policies and procedures.
Maintains reliable attendance.
Actively participates in departmental meetings, training and education.
Completes other assignments and special projects as requested.
Job Requirements
Associate's Degree in Quality, Business, or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Lean or Six Sigma experience a plus.
Minimum of 3 years' experience within a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of:
Lean Methodologies, Statistical Process Control, and Theory of Constraints
Minitab or other statistical software programs (regression charts, pareto, etc.)
Leadership principles
Adult learning concepts
Group problem solving and team dynamics
Documents management system
Change management
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio)
Skills and Abilities
Analyze and resolve problems utilizing the DMAIC process of Lean Six Sigma
Ability to lead others individually or in Lean Six Sigma problem solving teams/groups
Ability to collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization, in various workgroups, departments, and skillsets

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
