Continuously develops and maintains an understanding of Big Data technology and architecture
Assist in the development of Ashley's Big Data architecture and standards
Design/develop database relational & NoSQL engines to process information to end-users accurately and efficiently
Work closely with data scientists and engineers to design and maintain scalable data models and pipelines
ETL/ELT stream various data formats including IoT & non-structured
Analyze, understand, and document user needs to ensure accurate fulfillment of user story requests from internal business customers
Contribute to, and possibly lead, project teams that are developing or modifying highly complex Big Data solutions
Continuously develop expertise knowledge within the data warehouse, as well as an understanding of supported business domains
Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions
May conduct user interviews and training sessions
May mentor teammates on Big Data methods
Job Requirements
Over 5+ years of experience as a data warehouse, big data and BI SME
Prior experience powering Big Data Analytics through Azure HDInsight, a must have
Prior experience in working within complex Agile based Big Data initiatives, a plus
Prior experience as a team lead in implementing DW and BI solutions, a plus
Prior experience as a data engineer with Hadoop based technologies such as MapReduce, Hive, CosmosDB, MongoDB or Cassandra, a plus
Ability to understand BI, management reporting and data analytics needs in order to build appropriate data structures and reports
Ability to write high-quality code in languages such as; R, Python & Java
Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team of 5-8 developers
Proven problem solving ability and a willingness to think "outside-the-box".
Knowledge of Statistics and/or Machine Learning is a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
