MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR Full Time:

Job Description:
Supervises and organizes functions of the maintenance department for the facility.
Services facility equipment and laundry equipment per schedule.
Monitors and performs routine maintenance on wheelchairs per schedule.
Monitors handrails, bedrails, and dining room tables, and repair as needed.
Cleans casters on equipment and filters per schedule.
Hangs pictures and connects T.
V.
s for patients as needed.
Monitors downspouts and maintenance shop and assures cleanliness.
Replaces ceiling tiles as needed.
Performs minor carpentry repairs, electrical repairs, and plumbing repairs as needed.
Job Requirements:
High school graduate.
Valid NC Driver#s License.
Knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.
Furnish own hand tools.
Work every other weekend with rest of days off during week.
Carry beeper and respond to maintenance call every other week.
Ability to write and read with clarity sufficient to follow instructions.
Demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
Read, know and follow personnel, department, and facility policies.
Know how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to facility.
Ability to see small details, in equipment, machinery, etc.
Ability to hear emergency pages, fire alarm, beeper, and motors on equipment.
Ability to lift 100 pounds.
Knowledgeable of Exposure Control Plan for Blood-borne Pathogens and Fire # Disaster Plan, and follow policies and procedures.
